M4863 McCall's Colonial Costume Pattern Size 14-20
A very useful pattern, if you are into costuming.
This McCall's pattern 4863 is from 2005. They did a series of designs, at the beginning of this century, that were perfect for those of us who sew costumes. They broke down the various parts of a costume & gave it to you as 'all skirts' or 'all bodices' or, like this one, a complete outfit for you to make your own with fabric & trims.
This is called a Colonial pattern; but if you look at it, the individual pieces could be used in many genres of costuming by simply changing the fabric.
22 pattern pieces make up a dress, a corset, a skirt, a shawl & a cap. It is loose fitting & reviews say it's an easy pattern to sew.
Like most more or less authentic patterns, there is no need for zippers.
This is an old pattern & the envelope shows wear, but all instructions & factory folded pieces are just fine & dandy.
