Simple Pants Pattern: Simplicity 2290
This is a good beginners pattern for a simple pair of pants with an elasticized or draw string waist. You will learn how to cut out a pattern, understand seam allowance, choose the correct size, stitch seams, make an elastic casing and stitch a hem.
Sizes are for children, teens & adults; hips 24-49".
Recommended fabrics: flannel, gingham, chambray, cotton & cotton blends.
Would make great scrub pants for medical personnel; not suitable for sleepwear per instructions on the envelope. Pattern printed 2010. Never been used; envelope is in good shape.
