ACID WASH JEANS Boucle Alpaca-Merino Kettle Dyed Yarn
Who doesn't love fuzzy yarn? This Boucle yarn is one of Wooly's favorites; not only because it's beautiful yarn, but it's also fun to pet. Pet rock? As if! Pet fuzzy yarn rules...and it's much more enjoyable to play with!
This batch was dyed a nice navy blue to match our ACID WASH JEANS Merino yarn and they knit/ crochet together nicely. With 328 yards per 3.5 oz. skein; this is a fingering weight yarn.
The sample (pictured) was knitted on size 9 (US) needles; 16 stitches = 4". It makes a nice fabric on its own. Using larger needles would make it have a lacier/more open effect.
The yarn is a blend of 82% Alpaca, 13% Merino and 5% nylon.

Please note: Kettle dyeing does not result in a uniform color or similar variegation of the skeins of yarn dyed together. Some will have more dark colors, some lighter. No 2 skeins are alike, which is half the fun!
