Fuchsia Flowers Vintage Rayon Fabric 56" wide by 3.5 yard piece
Soft as silk! Rayon is a soft, draping fabric that will help keep you cool in the summer, like cotton, but feels more like silk.
Rayon is the first man-made fabric. It's beginnings were in the 1800's and the first commercial Rayon came out in the early 1900's as artificial silk. The name Rayon (meaning 'beam of light') was first used in the USA in 1924. Today, you will find viscose used as an alternative name, especially in Europe.
This fabric has a black background with fuchsia flowers and bronze-green leaves; kind of a Laura Ashley meets Goth Girl effect.
56" wide x 3.5 yards. We are selling this as one piece because Rayon makes such great dresses & it can be hard to find enough.
Gentle wash.
